South Korea's democratic system is susceptible to populist impulses. It's still more stable than we had hoped for.

It also has a network of local branches that conduct seminars and give talks to schoolchildren and community groups.

Changes in South Korea

In the latter half of the 19th century and into the early 20th, Korea moved toward a Westernised lifestyle.
